Our kindergarteners experience an ALL Day Kindergarten program. We have 21st century classrooms with interactive white boards in every classroom. BPS promotes a strong character education component for all students to develop positive leadership skills.

  • Deliver quality instruction with the use of classroom interactive white boards and laptop computers on wheels
  • Provide a great selection of reading material in a dynamic library with Reading Counts software to check student comprehension
  • Use a state of the art computer laboratory with CCC Success Maker software in Reading and Math


  • Believe that a quality education starts with the performing arts (music, art, physical education and technology)
  • Enable learning through real world adventure and educational rich field trips
  • Understand the importance of the arts and music in the development of the creative side of the brain
  • Provide students access to our trained therapy dog Derby, who supports our reading program
  • Offer opportunities to participate in summer baseball, Dragon football, Dragon cheer leading, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and 4-H Club in the community

  • Participate in Jump Rope for Heart to raise charity funding for American Heart Association
  • Promote student involvement and leadership through student-led morning announcements
  • Nurture student leadership through cooperative learning groups
  • Promote student leadership by establishing Student Council Members
